During the year 2022, the Okuyama Laboratory is developing the Ten-Koh 2, a 6U nanosatellite (six CubeSat units). CubeSat is a 10 cm cube with a mass of approximately 1 to 1.33 kg called 1U. The number of units per mission can typically range from 1U to 12U.
CubeSats are ideal as space development projects for universities around the world. In addition to their important role in educating space scientists and engineers, CubeSats provide a low-cost platform for space testing and qualification of the next generation of small payloads in space.
We will be reporting the progress of the Ten-Koh 2 mission through this website and Okuyama Lab’s social networks.
