Ignition delay time and succeeding burning process is experimentally examined for DBD treated fuel-air mixture, by using rapid compression machine.

SI / HCCI knocking

Pressure wave generation due to local ignition is reproduced and examined by a rapid compression machine that realizes less than 5 ms of compression time. The relation between the heat release time and the intensity of knocking is beeing investigated.
